Snack Series: Erin McKenna’s Bakery

Let’s get back on this snack train! This week we’re highlighting a vegan must do in Walt Disney World, Erin McKenna’s Bakery (formally Babycakes NYC) which is located in Disney Springs. Erin McKenna’s features allergy friendly baked goods, everything here is vegan, gluten free, kosher, and soy free.

Not only does Erin McKenna’s Bakery have sweet baked goods like cupcakes, cookies and tea cakes, they also have savory ones like bagels. You can also find vegan vanilla soft serve here daily, which they can make milkshakes with! The soft serve is coconut based, and if in shake form is usually with rice milk. Many of their sweets are accepted on the Disney Dining Plan as well.

Some of our favorite items here are the cookie sandwiches, coffee cake, cinnamon toastie cupcake/cake and the soft serve.

Some restaurants offer Erin McKenna’s Bakery sweets with your meal. We’ve gotten mini cupcakes at Boma, Tea Cakes at Be Our Guest breakfast, and Tea Cakes at the Garden View Tea Room. You can also order Erin McKenna’s Bakery to be delivered to your resort or a restaurant you’re planning on dining at. It’s a great way to celebrate and have a guaranteed vegan dessert or breakfast! If you want to order, plan ahead and call 855-462-2292.

Back in 2014 I created Vegan Disney World after going to Walt Disney World several times and finding no resource for vegan options. Corey and I began this blog from our trips and have now moved closer to the mouse to eat around the parks on a weekly basis. Since the blog started we have cruised on Disney Cruise Line, gone to Tokyo Disneyland and to Disneyland in California!
