Does a drink count as a snack? If we counted beer from Baseline the other week, then it’s only fair that this drink gets to shine. So this week we’re going to highlight a treat located in Fantasyland at Disney’s Magic Kingdom. When there you can easily find Gaston’s Tavern, theres a huge fountain of the man himself out in front of it.
Inside Gaston’s Tavern there are several snack options, mostly non-vegan things, and of course portraits of the main man himself. But one of the unknowingly vegan items there is LeFou’s Brew.
LeFou’s Brew is a no-sugar added frozen apple slush with a hint of marshmallow flavoring and topped with a passion fruit-mango foam. And yes, this whole thing is vegan AS IS! The marshmallow flavoring is just that, flavoring.
It’s meant to look like a real brew so everyone can enjoy it. You can get it in a souvenir Gaston mug, or opt for just a plain plastic cup for less than half the price. The drink only (no fancy mug) counts as a snack credit if you are on the dining plan.
