This review reflects our experience in May of 2015.
Some days in Disney World are unbearably hot, especially in summer. A good, quick way to cool down on those days is with a cold delicious treat. If you find yourself in Epcot on one of those days you should head over to the France pavilion for a refreshing snack.

When you wander back into the streets of the France pavilion you will find a hidden gem, L’Artisan des Glaces. Here you will find a wide assortment of ice creams and dairy-free sorbets. The flavors change pretty often so be sure to check the board when you walk in.

When we were visiting in May 2015 we informed the cast member at the register that we were looking for dairy free sorbet. They told us that each sorbet flavor was in fact dairy free and that they will scoop ours separate in the back of the shop.

We opted for mango, strawberry and lemon sorbets. We got our sweet treats in waffle cones as they too are vegan. After a few minutes a cast member came out of the back with our cones of sorbet.

These sweet snacks hit the spot. The mango was delicious, I would definitely get it again. The strawberry tasted just like fresh strawberries and the lemon had a pretty intense tart flavor to it. The waffle cone with it was a little weird, you can get their sorbets in cups too. This is a great snack option while in Epcot that isn’t a savory one.
Would we go again?
Yes! These were relatively cheap, quick and delicious.

Greetings – I’m a big fan of your blog. Your posts have been really helpful when planning our Disney vacations. We are headed to Disney in 7 days and wanted to know if any vegan fare is offered at Trader Sam’s Grotto? Do you have any recommendations? Thanks again for all of your help.
Hey Christie! We went to Trader Sams on our last trip but didn’t eat anything. On the menu it’s pretty much meat items. I have heard that if you’re on the patio (so maybe inside too!) you can ask for veggie sushi from o’hana. Let us know if you find something and we’ll be sure to add it. Enjoy!
