Do you ever have those days where you really just want french fries? No? Maybe it was just because I was pregnant at the time and really craving something salty and warm. While wandering World Showcase in Disney World’s Epcot we were searching for lunch. I was determined to get myself some french fries so I ran over to Liberty Inn.
Liberty Inn features American food in the widely diverse World Showcase in Epcot. This restaurant features meals you find pretty much all over Disney World, but for those not looking to try Moroccan food it can be a good option. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating here. One of the key features of Liberty Inn is that they offer a Gardein Chick’n Breast meal. The Freshly Grilled Vegetarian “Chick’n” Breast is on the menu and is vegan without a mayo based sauce on the breast. It includes a corn salsa, guacamole, lettuce and tomato. When we went I wasn’t looking to have this, if you’d like to see our review of it previously check it out here. Continue reading →

Finding a quick meal in Disney World is pretty easy, but it’s finding a fresh tasting and filling quick meal that can be a little harder. All throughout Walt Disney World there are tons of vegan quick service options, many contain french fries and some sort of vegetable patty. That’s not the case when you’re searching for a quick option in Epcot’s World Showcase. One of our absolute favorite quick service options is at Tangierine Cafe in the Morocco pavilion.

If you’ve been keeping up with our blog over the years then you probably know one of our favorite restaurants is Tokyo Dining. There are several reasons for our love of this restaurant, it’s in World Showcase, it’s a quick table service, we can usually book it same day (we go during off season), it’s cheap and it’s delicious! Tokyo Dining shares a building with Teppan Edo in the Japan pavilion in Epcot. It offers a great view of World Showcase Lagoon and even has a great view for IllumiNations.

When traveling through World Showcase in Epcot you may be checking out the many restaurants. One of the most unsuspecting vegan friendly restaurants happens to be Biergarten in the Germany Pavilion. Biergarten Restaurant features an incredible theme that makes you feel like you’re sitting in a biergarten under the German night sky. We recently went for lunch and were told a few updates about the buffet from our previous visit.
When we were seated we told our waiter we’d need to speak with a chef. After a few minutes a chef came out and spoke with us about what our vegan options were. The chef informed us that the rice contains chicken broth, but everything else we had eaten previously was still vegan. He offered to make us vegan rice but we declined. Continue reading →
We often see people asking about Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in Epcot. Akershus is a buffet restaurant in the Norway Pavilion that features a character meal full of princesses. Akershus is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. All three meals offer character dining. One of our readers recently went and shared her experience with us, thanks Saira!
We traveled to Walt Disney World in November 2015. Myself and my almost 4 year old daughter are vegan, and my husband is an omnivore. We were on the dining plan so we only ate at restaurants that accepted it. We went to Akershus, in the Norway Pavilion in World Showcase for dinner. Continue reading →
