Vegan Options from Disney Jollywood Nights

Heading to Disney Jollywood Nights at Disney’s Hollywood Studios this year? We have five delicious vegan options to enjoy while spending your evening in the swankiest Disney theme park.

We have four returning options from previous years and one new item to enjoy. When you’re not eating during this event there are special shows to watch, including seeing Miss Piggy and Kermit in person, special characters, and musical performances. The whole park is open too so if you want to catch Rise of the Resistance then an ice skating show, you can!

I’ll start off with this years new option, the Sleigh Bell Brussels Sprouts from Backlot Express. These sprouts feature a bourbon-onion jam and crispy onions. The portion is a nice size and the textures throughout offered varying bites. Some of the brussels sprouts were cooked a bit better than others, but overall they had a nice cook to them. The bourbon-onion jam was definitely more onion than bourbon and I really liked the bites with the crispy onions. This was a really nice little snack.

I was so happy that the Cauliflower Tacos returned at ABC Commissary this year as I absolutely loved them in 2024. These tacos are filled with crispy fried cauliflower, diced onions, cilantro, and a chipotle cashew crema. The cauliflower had nice crispy edges but were well done in the center on the cauliflower. The crema offered a nice creamy texture to each bite. I truly wish these were available all year because I could eat a whole platter of these.

The Loaded Samosas can be found at Dockside Diner. These potato and pea samosas are accompanied by curried chickpeas, a plant-based herb crema, and tomato-pomegranate chutney. These samosas are pretty basic, I wouldn’t be able to differentiate these from any store bought freezer samosa. The chickpeas are the real star on the plate. They offer a nice slight, SLIGHT, curry heat and are very tasty. This option is enjoyable, and I would recommend it if you like Indian foods.

I was unable to secure these the night I went, but returning to various snack carts and Trolley Car Cafe are the Gingerbread Bites. I wasn’t a huge fan of these in 2024 so I wasn’t too let down to not get these again. They are just bite size chunks of gingerbread cookies, which aren’t my favorite cookies. They are fine though and if you like gingerbread cookies you’d probably like these.

Last is the Tofu Bao from Hollywood Brown Derby which does require an advanced reservation. These are delicious and offer a nice light fluffy bao with some actually pressed tofu. The sauce on these is a soy vinaigrette and it comes with a cucumber slaw. These are very tasty and honestly need to be offered somewhere else year round as an appetizer.

I absolutely love Disney Jollywood Nights. If you’re trying to decide between this and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party I would recommend considering what is offered at each party and which of those things are most important to you. I feel like with Disney Jollywood Nights you are able to accomplish everything and not feel like you missed things, which makes this my preferred party. Happy holidays!

Back in 2014 I created Vegan Disney World after going to Walt Disney World several times and finding no resource for vegan options. Corey and I began this blog from our trips and have now moved closer to the mouse to eat around the parks on a weekly basis. Since the blog started we have cruised on Disney Cruise Line, gone to Tokyo Disneyland and to Disneyland in California!
