2016 has come to an end, we want to thank you all for following along with us for another year! As this year comes to an end, it means it’s time for Vegan Disney World’s favorite dishes of 2016. So let’s take a quick trip into our favorite things we ate this year.

Dining in Walt Disney World can be an experience in its own. When you’re looking for fine dining there are several options throughout the World, but nothing quite compares to the dining experience you will find at Victoria and Albert’s at Disney’s Grand Floridian. Victoria and Albert’s was named number 2 in Best Fine Dining Restaurants by Trip Advisor in 2016. This restaurant features three dining options, the Dining Room, Queen Victoria’s Room, and the Chef’s Table. The Dining room allows you to choose between a 7 or 10 course meal, the Queen and Chef’s Table are both the 10 course meal.
If you choose to dine at Victoria and Albert’s you must adhere by their strict dress code. Men must wear jackets, no exceptions, and women must wear a nice cocktail dress or dressy pant suit or skirt. Continue reading →

Have you ever looked into a special tour while on your Disney vacation? There are a ton to choose from, from Keys to the Kingdom in Magic Kingdom to the Behind the Seeds Tour in Epcot. We decided to change up our usual trip and do the Wild Africa Trek in Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
To book this tour you need to call ahead to reserve a time and date for your tour. All of these tours are 3-hours long. When we called to reserve our tour I made sure to note our special diet. I informed the Cast Member that we were vegan since there is a snack offered on this tour. Continue reading →

Symphony in the Stars, otherwise known as the “Star Wars Fireworks Show”, is a new nighttime spectacular at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The show itself features music and sound clips from the Star Wars movie series, timed to amazing pyrotechnics and fireworks that are shot off from behind The Great Movie Ride. Recently, Hollywood Studios began offering a special dessert party with a private viewing area and speciality adult beverages for $69.00 per adult. The party promised “out-of-this-world selection of desserts and specialty drinks—including alcoholic beverage options” as well as a souvenir stein and special viewing area.

If you’ve been keeping up with our blog over the years then you probably know one of our favorite restaurants is Tokyo Dining. There are several reasons for our love of this restaurant, it’s in World Showcase, it’s a quick table service, we can usually book it same day (we go during off season), it’s cheap and it’s delicious! Tokyo Dining shares a building with Teppan Edo in the Japan pavilion in Epcot. It offers a great view of World Showcase Lagoon and even has a great view for IllumiNations.
