Capt. Cook’s is the quick service/grab and go location for Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. Recently they added some new vegan breakfast options. Previously you could get allergy (vegan and gluten free) Mickey Waffles here as well as the by-request vegan Tonga Toast. You can still get these items but now they have some on menu breakfast options.
We opted to try the Power Breakfast Bowl while there. There is also the option for Steel-Cut Oatmeal and a modified Avocado Toast you can do.
The Power Breakfast Bowl features vegan egg, vegan sausage, potatoes, and sautéed red pepper. The portion was pretty large and was easily sharable if you’re looking for a lighter breakfast.
The JUST Egg must be the new version as they were super fluffy and not grainy at all. The potatoes were cooked well and it was paired with a Beyond Sausage.
We opted to get ours to go, they have a large seating area outside, however it was raining at the time. It was super quick to get our meal and the cast member at the register was very informed about the new plant based options. We’ll definitely drop by here in the morning on the way to Magic Kingdom again for this.
