A few years ago we would joke about how Magic Kingdom was full of veggie burgers for both vegetarians and vegans. Over the years some of the quick service options have changed which have made it so that our options have expanded beyond the world of the Malibu Gardenburger while in Magic Kingdom. One of those more recent changes was over in Tomorrowland at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe.

Often when looking for dining options many people look for the desserts. Everyone knows a good dessert can really make a meal. We had found out that Beaches & Cream Soda Shop at Disney’s Beach Club offered vegan ice cream so we knew we had to give it a try. We were even more excited when we saw there was a house made veggie burger that had the potential of being vegan.

During our last visit we stayed at Port Orleans French Quarter for the first time. We had frequented the resort’s sister property, Port Orleans Riverside, but avoided French Quarter because it does not have a table service restaurant, and because we thought the Mardi Gras theming would be over-done. To our surprise, the property was beautifully appointed throughout, and we had a very pleasant at the one quick service dining location, Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory.
We understand that not everyone gets to travel to Disney World with just vegans. Or you may be traveling with a vegan and have no idea where they can eat. There are tons of restaurants that both vegans and omnivores will enjoy.
