Yesterday I had one of my favorites for lunch. At Harambe Market in Animal Kingdom you can find this Roasted Vegetable Bowl. It is filled with fresh vegetables, chickpeas, rice, salsa, and a little salad. It does have some spice to it too. The dish is vegan as is after the October 2019 change. Just note that the location often closes early, so plan to go for lunch. 🦏 #vegandisneyworld •

One of our favorite veganized breakfasts for many years has been the Tonga Toast from Kona Cafe. This Polynesian Resort restaurant has always been incredibly accommodating. Just request a vegan version of this off the menu (it’s fried in a shared fryer) and then swap the side of meat for either fruit, potatoes, or now vegan sausage! 🍞 #vegandisneyworld •

At Whispering Canyon Cafe at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge you can find a great vegan appetizer. This is the Maple-Chipotle Barbecue-braised Jackfruit Dip which is topped with a vegan pepper jack cheese and served with chips. It’s definitely a fork style dip, but it’s very good. One of my favorite things to eat in all of Disney World is this Bavarian Pretzel from Baseline Tap House in Hollywood Studios. The pretzel is great for sharing (or not), and is almost always warm and soft. He told me that TOMORROW they are changing it to be MEAT BASED and no longer a vegan chili. — edit to add Ethan the coordinator came back over to tell me that they WILL have the chili for the next three days by request only. He said that if the demand shows that people are requesting it they will keep it around. Jaleo by José at Disney Springs has a handful of delicious vegan options. Pictured is the Pan de cristal con tomate, Escalivada Catalana, and Ensalada Verde. They also have an amazing Empedrat de mongetes that we recommend. You can see what all is vegan on the allergy menu or by speaking with a chef. They do have meat carving carts and carcasses back in the kitchen so be warned or ask for a table far from the kitchen. 🥗 #vegandisneyworld •

UNIVERSAL’S ISLANDS OF ADVENTURE - We’ve been kind of obsessed with Confisco Grille lately at Islands of Adventure. This table service restaurant has a handful of options that can vegan but my current favorite is the Chilled Tuna Noodle Bowl with a swap for tofu. The bowl comes with cucumber, edamame, avocado, and crispy tofu with a wasabi sauce. 🥑 Just be sure to specify you’re vegan when ordering. They also have a Pad Thai, Portobello Sandwich, a vegan Sausage Orzo dish, and our favorite hummus appetizer. 🎢 #vegandisneyworldatuniversal •

Over at L’Artisan des Glaces in Epcot you can find several vegan sorbets. They change them out occasionally, but you can typically find strawberry, mixed berry, lemon, and/or mango. The lemon and strawberry are our favorites. 🍓🍋 The waffle cone they have here is also vegan. If you want to avoid cross contamination they can scoop your sorbet in the back with a completely fresh scoop. Be sure to stop in the France pavilion to get yourself a delicious sorbet snack. 🍦 #vegandisneyworld •
