2026 Vegan Options at the EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival

Spring has officially sprung at Walt Disney World if the EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival has started. So no more 30 degree nights, Orlando! This years festival runs from March 4th to June 1st. The Flower and Garden Festival is often one of the best for us vegans, so be sure to bring your stretchy shorts!

We have a few new options this year as well as many returning favorites. So let’s dive in with the new options first. There is a full list of the options to screenshot at the bottom of this post.

Nectar hosted by AdventHealth

This booth has two plant-based options! The Poke Bowl here was very good and I wish it was an option at a quick service in the parks. It’s a great blend of flavors and textures with sticky rice, pickled red onions, edamame, avocado, mango, seaweed salad, furikake, and an umami sauce. The portion size was rather comical in the large bowl once you mixed it around, but taste wise this was very good and one I’d get again.

For dessert we got to enjoy the Coconut Panna Cotta. Out of the many desserts we have this year, this was by far my favorite one. The panna cotta comes with a matcha crumb, cherry gelee, a citrus cookie, meringue, and edible flowers. I really loved the tartness of the cherry with the creamy panna cotta. I will be enjoying this dessert on my next visit!

Beach Grub

While this option isn’t new, it is an update from previous years version. The Grilled Street Corn on the Cob got an update with the new Boursin Cheese partnership. This year it is slathered in the plant-based garlic spread from Boursin. It definitely had a strong garlic flavor and was met with a kick of the chili lime from the tajin on it. I really enjoyed this new version of the corn.

BRUNCHCOT

Another updated option can be found at BRUNCHCOT with the Avocado Toast. Previously they used a vegan feta on this, but this year they have the Boursin dairy free cheese on it. I thought it would be used like a smear until I saw the photo of it. They put a few dollops of the vegan cheese on it, so the bites that have the Boursin have a strong garlic flavor. I did like the actual avocado more this year as it was chunky rather than super smooth. While I don’t love this option for a festival food, it is still very tasty.

Lan Yuan

We have a mix of returning and new to us options at this booth in China. This pavilion is not Disney owned, which means they don’t have to label their options like the other booths. We checked the ingredients on this and the Pan-Fried Vegetable Dumplings are vegan again. I really liked these this year as they had a nice crispy edge where they formed together and the filling had more soy protein than vegetables. I wish this wasn’t $5, but I will still eat them again for that price (I’m a sucker, I know).

New to us this year is Tanghulu, which I didn’t even think to check on, but Suzannah from VeganDisneyFood did. To our surprise these are vegan and one I will have to head back to try! This is a candied sugar syrup on strawberries and grapes served on a skewer. (Thank you for the photo Suzannah!)

Hanami

In addition to the Tanghulu, Suzannah also confirmed that the Curry Bun at the Japan booth is also vegan! So while we lost the steam bun this year, we still have a fun bun to enjoy. I will have to try this next time I go to EPCOT.

Citrus Blossom

Returning at Citrus Blossom inside the Odyssey building is the Lumpia and Lemon Tart. The Lumpia features plant-based pork, green papaya salad, and Yuzu sweet-and-sour. These are little crispy rolls filled with Impossible meat and best when dipped into the sauce. You get three rolls and a side of salad. The Lumpia themselves are the standout for this one, I could do without the papaya salad.

The Lemon Tart is filled with tangy lemon curd, blood orange fluid gel, plant-based meringue, and a raspberry powder. I really enjoy the lemon curd for this one, and the crust helps cut some of the tartness from it. If you like lemon desserts you should absolutely try this.

La Isla Fresca

Another dessert this year, as we have many, is the Chocolate-Coconut Flan Bizcocho from La Isla Fresca. This dessert has a chocolate cake topped with coconut custard and a passion fruit caramel. I really enjoyed this one this year, more so than last year. I felt that I had a thicker portion of the chocolate cake and was able to really taste all the flavors on it.

Bauernmarkt Farmer’s Market

I opted to skip getting this one on opening day as I have had this option several times over the last few years. I know I like it, but when I am going in knowing I have lots of food to eat, I can only stomach so much. The Potato Pancakes are thick and topped with applesauce. I will probably grab one at some point this season, but today wasn’t the day.

Tangierine Cafe

The festival option that never leaves has once again returned to Morocco (because it doesn’t leave). The Falafel Wrap is back once again, and while it is a very tasty small lunch/snack option, I skipped it for now. But if you’re looking for a light lunch I recommend this, but if you’re trying to snack around for the festival I would skip it as it’s more food than you think.

Refreshment Outpost

Another skip for me was one of our MANY Dole Whips this season. While this is one of my favorites, I saved the Garden Graze redemption as my single Dole Whip. The Seasonal Fruit Parfait, however, features Mango Dole Whip topped with fruit, a sweet chili sauce, and tajin. I really enjoy this Dole Whip as it reminds me of my favorite one from Disneyland.

Swirled Showcase

This location changes their menu with each festival, and this year we have a Peach Dole Whip and a Lemon Sorbet in a waffle cone. Like the above, I opted to forgo this on opening day in favor of my redemption treat. (If you’re counting, this is two Dole Whips and one sorbet so far).

Pineapple Promenade

This location is where you redeem your Garden Graze prize. They also have Pineapple Dole Whip here, in case you just can’t get enough of the Dole Whips this year (three now). The redemption item this year is the same as last, which is a swirl of Pineapple Dole Whip and vegan vanilla soft serve (does this count as four?)! You also get a pack of wildflowers to plant.

This was actually my FIRST ever vanilla/pineapple Dole Whip. I now understand the hype and wish that we had the vegan vanilla at Magic Kingdom. You can get any of the Garden Graze items marked off to redeem your gift, you just need five stamps to get it. The booklet can be found at the entrance of the park or at any of the food booths. Just let the cast member know to get your passport stamped.

That’s it for this years vegan options at the EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival. My favorites this year were the Lumpia, Coconut Panna Cotta, and my redemption treat. Be sure to check out all the beautiful topiaries and of course the concert series if you are there on a weekend. Enjoy!

Back in 2014 I created Vegan Disney World after going to Walt Disney World several times and finding no resource for vegan options. Corey and I began this blog from our trips and have now moved closer to the mouse to eat around the parks on a weekly basis. Since the blog started we have cruised on Disney Cruise Line, gone to Tokyo Disneyland and to Disneyland in California!
