Let me just start this by saying that I am so excited when I get to write up a Disney breakfast post and it something that isn’t just allergy Mickey Waffles. Don’t get me wrong, I love (most of the time) a waffle in the shape of a mouse, however, it is so cool to know that in 2021 we have completely unique and creative vegan breakfasts at the resorts. So let’s talk about breakfast from The Artist’s Palette at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort.

The Artist’s Palette is the quick service location for this Disney Vacation Club resort. You do not need to be staying at a Disney resort to eat there. Artist’s Palette offers food all day long, and during non-COVID times they have plenty of grab and go snacks. Just like everywhere else currently, Artist’s Palette is utilizing Mobile Ordering. For my breakfast here I selected a time that I would be there to get my food and ordered the Harvest Breakfast Sandwich.

The Harvest Breakfast Sandwich features a vegan egg, spinach, and red peppers with vegan cheese on bread. It comes with a side of breakfast potatoes. The size of the sandwich was a bit smaller than I had expected it to be. It also comes on a hoagie style roll, which I found odd.

The bread itself wasn’t toasted or anything, the top of the bread was a little tough to bite through, but it was very soft. The cheese on the sandwich was actually melted, which is very very rare for vegan cheeses at Disney World.

The whole flavor of the sandwich was good, but mostly due to the cheese. The vegan egg never really tastes like much, and the spinach and red pepper weren’t noticeable. But the melty cheese with the bread and the vegan egg together was very good.

I do wish it was a bit larger, or even on a more common sandwich bread. However, I really enjoyed the sandwich and would get this again.
The breakfast potatoes were incredible. They were well seasoned, and cooked very well. The only downside to the potatoes was that they were a little soggy, but I assume that is due to being put on the plate then in a plastic dome as a to-go order.

There were plenty of the potatoes and they were all very good. This plate had plenty of food, despite the small sandwich, and kept me full for hours. I will absolutely be going here for a breakfast sandwich again because of it!
