New Pumpkin Treats from Erin McKenna’s Bakery

Fall and Winter baked goods are my absolute favorite. Pumpkin flavored baked treats are a true sign that you have entered into Fall. Lucky for us, Erin McKenna’s Bakery at Disney Springs has released most of their seasonal treats! We stopped in to check them out, and left with a box full of goods.

The pumpkin treats we saw were Pumpkin Whoopie Pies, Pumpkin Cookie Dough Cupcakes, Pumpkin Teacakes, Pumpkin Crumb Cake, Pumpkin Bundt Cakes, and Pumpkin Latte Donuts. We got everything except the bundt cake and teacake.

Out of the treats we got, my favorites were the Pumpkin Latte Donut and the Pumpkin Crumb Cake. The donut was super moist and had a great pumpkin and coffee flavor to it. The crumb cake was lighter in pumpkin flavor, but their coffee cake is one of our favorite things here so this was very similar. It was a good texture and had a nice topping to it. The cupcake and whoopie pies we got were both incredibly dry. The flavors on them were fine, but it was hard to get through the dryness.

I was also told that their pies (pumpkin and apple) would be coming to the bakery soon. I am excited to try some of the pies this year, as we enjoyed them last and they’re cute and tiny!

What treat would you want to try?

Back in 2014 I created Vegan Disney World after going to Walt Disney World several times and finding no resource for vegan options. Corey and I began this blog from our trips and have now moved closer to the mouse to eat around the parks on a weekly basis. Since the blog started we have cruised on Disney Cruise Line, gone to Tokyo Disneyland and to Disneyland in California!

  1. Do you know around how much these treats cost? We always stop in once a year on our Disney trip, and last December it seems like all the prices shot up. We used to get 6 treats and freeze them to eat during vacation, and I think we ended up only buying one thing to split last year.

    1. The cupcakes were $8 each. I bought a pumpkin spice cupcake, a caramel apple cupcake, a snickerdoodle cookie, and a mound and it was $24. Would totally buy all but the mound again (delicious but on the sweeter side for me). The cupcakes were amazing!
