Finding decent breakfasts in theme parks is hard enough, but finding a vegan breakfast can be nearly impossible. Fortunately for us there is a spot in Universal Studios Florida that offers great options all day, and has a handful of those options for breakfast.

The TODAY Cafe is located in the Hollywood section of the park and is right by the entrance, so you can’t miss it. This location opens when the park does, which makes it ideal for an early in park snack grab. So let’s see what options they have!

If you’re looking for something light then grab a Vegan Elderberry Croissant or a plain Vegan Croissant. This item can be found in the bakery case, and we’ve encountered it out of stock a few times. If you’re lucky enough to get it, it is a real treat. Finding a vegan croissant is rare, and this one is delicious. It is light and fluffy and the Elderberry Croissant is filled with an elderberry jam like middle. You can find these all day, as long as they’re in stock.

Another quick item to grab is the Overnight Oats. These are vegan as is and right by the register in a cooler. This is an easy item when in a hurry, although you’ll probably have to sit down to eat it. The oats are in almond milk, agave, chia seeds, seasonal berries, toasted coconut and toasted almonds. This are a nice cool breakfast for hot summer mornings. This option is only offered in the morning.

Speaking of hot summer mornings, another great breakfast option is the Açaí Bowl. You do need to order it without granola as it contains honey though. The Açaí bowl is nice and thick, and very very cold. The bowl is topped with strawberries, bananas, toasted coconut and chia seeds. It’s nice to have options here that feature real food! This item is available all day long.

Lastly is my favorite, the Park Avenue Avocado Toast. To get this vegan you need to swap the bread, fortunately they have a unique vegan bread for their daytime sandwich. When ordering just ask to swap the Artisan French Bread with the Cranberry Artisan Bread instead. The toast comes with smashed avocados, toasted cashews, shaved fennel, roasted tomato puree, lemon vinaigrette, arugula, radicchio and is served with fresh fruit. They serve this item all day too.

The TODAY Cafe also has a variety of coffee drinks to choose from, and non-dairy (soy and almond) milks to get in your coffee. They serve breakfast here until 11am. If you’re looking for a full list of vegan options in the parks, head to the Universal Orlando Vegans Wiki page.
