Beaches & Cream Temporary Location

Beaches & Cream Soda Shop at Disney’s Beach Club Resort has been a well known staple for many years. This location is both a restaurant and has a quick serve ice cream window too. The whole restaurant space is currently being renovated so they have a temporary location for the ice cream shop only.

There is tons of signage to find the new location depending on which way you come in to find it. I came from the Yacht Club side when I was scoping out the situation. There is a sign in front of Beaches & Cream saying to go to Ariel’s for the temporary location. Ariel’s is located closer to Cape May Cafe in the Beach Club and is adjacent to Martha’s Vineyard. When walking toward Ariel’s there is another sign saying this is where it is and a large mat on the ground with the Beaches & Cream logo.

Once inside you’ll find a single cash register where you order. If you come in from the lobby side there is an actual menu where you enter.

I spoke with the cast members and was told they still have all three vegan ice creams available (Tofutti, Rice Dream, and SoDelicious). They have all the vegan toppings still (peanut butter sauce, marshmallow sauce, Oreos). The cast member said their hot fudge contains dairy, in the past we were able to get a chocolate sauce that wasn’t the hot fudge but they didn’t mention anything about that, so I’m unsure if they aren’t carrying that right now. The only thing they said they can’t do in this location is milkshakes.

Beaches & Cream will be in this location until the refurbishment is done sometime in December 2019 or January 2020. At least we can still get delicious sundaes during this update!

Back in 2014 I created Vegan Disney World after going to Walt Disney World several times and finding no resource for vegan options. Corey and I began this blog from our trips and have now moved closer to the mouse to eat around the parks on a weekly basis. Since the blog started we have cruised on Disney Cruise Line, gone to Tokyo Disneyland and to Disneyland in California!
