Staying cool in the parks is always key, but so is finding snacks. So when you can find a snack that cools you AND is satisfying, that’s a win. In Hollywood Studios you can find Hollywood Scoops on Sunset Boulevard next to the Hollywood Tower Hotel.
Even though they have no indication on the menu, they have vegan ice cream here. When I approached the window I just simply asked if they had vegan and/or dairy free ice cream. The cast member left to get me a coordinator who came over told me they had both Chocolate and Vanilla Tofutti available. When I asked about the cone he said they had one, but it contained honey.
The ice cream is nothing special, just your basic Tofutti. I usually opt for vanilla as the chocolate just tastes off to me. This was super refreshing and hit the spot on a super humid visit to the park.
My wife and I were at MGM Hollywood on June 11 and I swear, she said, and had the exact same experience as the writer of this page. The Coordinator came over and said they had the same 3 options. My wife opted for Vanilla. I must say that I tasted it and it is by far the best tasting ice cream I have ever had. My wife also loved it, even though I kept asking for a taste 🙂

Finding tofutti is like a unicorn. It usually is at specialty vegetarian or health food stores. Good luck!!
Visited today (2/9/20) and asked for non-dairy, vegan option and they said they did not have it.
