Vegan Donuts from Erin McKenna’s Bakery NYC

If you thought you’d just have to watch everyone else enjoy baked goods while in Disney World, then you thought wrong. There is a vegan heaven hiding in the newly updated section of Downtown Disney as it evolves into Disney Springs. Erin McKenna’s Bakery NYC is located in ‘The Landing’ at Disney Springs. This bakery features vegan baked goods that also happen to hit all the main allergies, gluten, dairy, soy and egg. This bakery used to be under the name BabyCakes NYC but has sense been reintroduced as Erin McKenna’s Bakery.

Back in 2014 I created Vegan Disney World after going to Walt Disney World several times and finding no resource for vegan options. Corey and I began this blog from our trips and have now moved closer to the mouse to eat around the parks on a weekly basis. Since the blog started we have cruised on Disney Cruise Line, gone to Tokyo Disneyland and to Disneyland in California!

  1. What other locations sell her items? The shop in the Village doesn’t accept DDP, but I know the Boardwalk Bakery will.

    1. Previously you could find her cupcakes in the BoardWalk Bakery, they should still be there. Additionally you could find them in the quick service for Art of Animation, however, I don’t know if that has changed since they reopened under a new name.

  2. Any suggestions for those of us who can’t eat GF flour? The stuff makes me violently sick, and I had horrible cookie cravings on my last trip.

    1. It seems that we get lumped into the allergies so I don’t know if anyone has vegan non-gluten free cookies on property. You might be able to ask why kind of flour Erin Mckennas uses and maybe you’ll be okay?

      1. Unfortunately ALL GF flour is an absolute no-go zone (except for almond, which I know they don’t use). It’s too heavily processed for my delicate stomach. Go figure why Universal sells Divvies (they aren’t known for being special-diet friendly) but Disney dropped them.
