Vegan Pizza in Disney

If you were to ask most people what their favorite foods were, pizza would be on that list. Since we all love pizza we wanted to post our favorite pizzas in Disney World. Just because you’re vegan in Disney World doesn’t mean you can’t get a vegan friendly pizza while on your vacation.

Pizza Planet

If you’re in the mood for a cheap quick pizza and you’re in Hollywood Studios then stop by Pizza Planet. Pizza Planet offers a veggie pizza with peppers, tomato, onion, mushroom and Follow Your Heart vegan cheese. You have to specially request it to be made vegan to get this cheese, you can also get a cheese-less pizza here.

Via Napoli

If you’re more interested in a sit down style pizza you can make a reservation at Via Napoli in the Italy Pavilion at Epcot. They don’t offer vegan cheese here but the crust and toppings are great and the pizza is wood-fired. This pizza isn’t the cheapest on property but it is pretty tasty. The toppings offered here are pretty unique to any other pizza place in Disney. Here you can get eggplant, artichoke, arugula and many more. You will need to speak to a chef or manager about a vegan pizza to be made without cheese.

Another great quick service pizza option is in Disney’s Animal Kingdom at Pizzafari. The pizzas here are all pre-made so you will receive a pizza on muffaletta bread with peppers, tomoatoes, onions, mushrooms and Daiya vegan cheese. This is our favorite of the quick service pizzas, you will need to request a vegan pizza as it is not on the menu.

The last option is another sit down pizza option from Trattoria Al Forno at Disney’s BoardWalk Resort. We have not personally been here (yet!) but have heard great reviews of the Italian offerings here. This restaurant replaced Kouzinna By Cat Cora in 2014 which offered vegan friendly chefs. It appears that you would be able to get a vegetable pizza here without cheese.

Additionally we have not been able to get a delivery pizza from a Disney resort while staying there. You may be able to get a personal pizza from a moderate or value resort quick service depending on the way they are made. I would ask a Cast Member if this is something you can get.

Back in 2014 I created Vegan Disney World after going to Walt Disney World several times and finding no resource for vegan options. Corey and I began this blog from our trips and have now moved closer to the mouse to eat around the parks on a weekly basis. Since the blog started we have cruised on Disney Cruise Line, gone to Tokyo Disneyland and to Disneyland in California!

  1. Via Napoli claimed their pizza crust wasn’t vegan when I tried to dine there with non-vegan friends. The chef was very short with me and I felt like I was wasting his time, he rudely said he could bring me a cup of minestrone and that would be the only vegan thing.

    1. That’s unfortunate. We’ve seen lots of bad experiences there. We didn’t love it so we personally wouldn’t be back either. That’s sorry to hear. I hope your other meals were better experiences. Melissa
