FALLing for Plant-Based Cupcake at the Walt Disney World Resorts

With all the changes the last few weeks I’ve been playing catch up some things here. A few weeks back the allergy cupcake offered at 8 Walt Disney World resorts updated and we got a new fall flavor! So goodbye strawberry lemonade, hello apple cinnamon!

The new gluten free and vegan cupcake still features the vanilla Bob’s Red Mill cake mix. The frosting is now apple flavored and also has chunks of apple in it. It’s a perfect cozy fall flavor with cinnamon. The cake was soft and moist and the frosting wasn’t overly sweet.

If you weren’t a fan of the previous cupcake due to the sweetness, I think you’ll like this one more. While I loved the previously flavor, I also loved this one. I am really excited to see what they do for the winter holidays with this cupcake.

If you’re not staying at one of the resorts but want to try one, it’s easiest to ride the Disney Skyliner over to one of the three resorts above and grab it there.

Back in 2014 I created Vegan Disney World after going to Walt Disney World several times and finding no resource for vegan options. Corey and I began this blog from our trips and have now moved closer to the mouse to eat around the parks on a weekly basis. Since the blog started we have cruised on Disney Cruise Line, gone to Tokyo Disneyland and to Disneyland in California!
