Hidden Gem Lunch in EPCOT

If you‘re at EPCOT you may be surprised to see the lack of vegan options for such a food heavy park. When it comes to quick service options we really only have a few, and sometimes for lunch you don‘t want to do a full service meal. So what if I told you that you could dine at a wine bar and have a quick lunch? Over at Tutto Gusto in the Italy pavilion you can do just that and have a full service style meal without the reservation!

There are two ways to enjoy this spot, you can grab drinks to go by heading to the Tutto Gusto entrance, or head into the Tutto Italia entrance and request a table for Tutto Gusto. Depending on time of day you may have a wait, but if you head there at 12:30 when they open for lunch you shouldn‘t encounter that.

Tutto Gusto Lunch Menu

During lunch hours, which are 12:30 – 4:00pm, they serve a special lunch menu which includes the Vegano sandwich. This is under the Rosemary Focaccia Imbottita section and is filled with grilled eggplant, zucchini, olivada, tomatoes, and arugula. It also comes with house made chips as a side.

The rosemary focaccia is so soft and flavorful. The olivada truly made the sandwich because it added a salty flavor with the vegetables. Typically these style of sandwiches lack a seasoning, so the brininess of the olives was welcomed. The vegetables themselves were cooked well, and actually tasted grilled too. The only downside to our sandwich was that our tomato was basically still frozen. They were cut thin enough that it didn‘t fully impede the sandwich, but I did end up taking some off.

The Vegano was full of flavor, had a nice bite with the soft focaccia and cooked vegetables. The meal also starts with bread for the table so we actually dipped our sandwich in the oil from that and it was perfect. The chips were very crunchy, lightly salted, and also huge.

This is absolutely a secret item since there isn‘t a posted menu for it online. Our food came out very quickly and it was nice to have a meal where we were served but didn’t have to plan in advanced. I highly recommend trying this for lunch or an early dinner if you‘re looking a fill of veggies!

Back in 2014 I created Vegan Disney World after going to Walt Disney World several times and finding no resource for vegan options. Corey and I began this blog from our trips and have now moved closer to the mouse to eat around the parks on a weekly basis. Since the blog started we have cruised on Disney Cruise Line, gone to Tokyo Disneyland and to Disneyland in California!
