Impossible Kofta Pita from Harambe Market

It’s time to review another newer option at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Harambe Market is open during lunch hours, occasionally later, but do check the app for times if you want to try to eat this for dinner. This spot used to have a great vegetable curry, then it changed to a sausage, and has now once again changed, but this time to a similar dish that is offered at Kusafiri, which is just around the corner.

The Impossible Kofta Pita is easy to order on the app, so avoid the wait in line and pre-order this on your way over. The Impossible Kofta Pita is a pita filled with Impossible meat, chermoula, vegan aioli, and house-made chips as the side.

The Impossible meat here is seasoned with herbs inside and had a nice flavor to it. Overall I didn’t care for this pita, but Corey enjoyed it. I felt that it was the same as one the one at Kusafiri (which I also didn’t like) and found it lacking in flavor and the pita to be overwhelming with a dryness for me. Corey did not find it as dry as I did and said he would get it again if he wanted a lighter meal.

We can’t figure out what the flavor of the aioli is supposed to be. It didn’t taste like anything really. The chermoula added a nice wetness to the wrap, but it wasn’t enough for me personally. This was easier to eat than the Impossible Gatsby and held together better. The chips were pretty much the same as Kusaifi as well, they seem to have a curry or turmeric seasoning on them and I really do like those.

I won’t be getting this one again based on other options in this park, but if you like the Impossible Gatsby at Kusafiri then you’d like this one.

Back in 2014 I created Vegan Disney World after going to Walt Disney World several times and finding no resource for vegan options. Corey and I began this blog from our trips and have now moved closer to the mouse to eat around the parks on a weekly basis. Since the blog started we have cruised on Disney Cruise Line, gone to Tokyo Disneyland and to Disneyland in California!
