One of the Walt Disney World parks with the most vegan quick service options is Disney’s Hollywood Studios. This park has several unique options, so picking the one with a vegan burger is usually low on my list. Because of this, it’s been a few years since I ventured over to ABC Commissary to get an update on their burger.

The last time I had this burger it was called the Vegan Burger, that name changed several years ago if that says how long it’s been. The new (well, not new new) name is the California Burger. This burger has two sides to choose from, either Steak Fries or the Arugula-Farro Salad. I decided to give this option another visit because of the salad if I’m being honest.

When I had this burger before I really enjoyed it. So I am happy to report that the California Burger is just as good as it was the last time I ate it. This is a Beyond Burger and it comes with sautéed onions and peppers, lettuce and tomato, and a sriracha mustard and a mayo ketchup. This burger has a lot of flavors going on and no need for unmelted vegan cheese.

The burger was cooked well throughout and the peppers and onions also had a nice cook to them. The sriracha mustard heat built up while I was eating it, so if you aren’t here for heat I recommend getting it without the mustard or at the very least on the side. If I have to eat a vegan burger, I am not mad to eat to this one.

The Arugula-Farro Salad was a hearty portion and had a ton of farro. The salad also had dried cranberries, apples, pecans, vegan Parmesan, and a Dijon vinaigrette.

The salad had nice flavors and textures in it. I really enjoyed it at first but the more I ate it, and the more I filled up from it, it became a bit harder to eat and was very farro heavy. I think the side portion is more than enough to enjoy. I am so happy we have this as an option rather than just having fries.

I am glad that the burger held up over these years and is still a delicious option. If you’re wanting a burger, or are with people who will only eat here, know you will at least be getting a good one! And if you’re gluten free they do have the Bloomfield Farms vegan/gluten free bun for you to get with the fries.
