It has been almost four years since my last visit to D-Luxe Burger at Disney Springs and since a friend of mine said the new burger was good, I decided to give it a go. Our last experience here had one of the worst meals of my life and I’m pretty sure the burger was microwaved at that time. However, the toppings have changed and it’s been a long time, so I was willing to try again.

D-Luxe Burger is located along the springs of Disney Springs and is closest to the Town Center. They have lots of indoor and outdoor seating. You can also mobile order here with modifications to the burger if needed. If you opt for dine in for your mobile order you will need to go in to grab your table marker and they will bring the food to you when it’s ready, you can also order it in to go containers and just grab the bag yourself when it’s ready.

The new Plant-based Burger here has a vegan gouda, lettuce, tomato, and pickle on a parker house roll. The burger itself is a Beyond Burger and it was cooked really well. There was a nice char on the burger patty which added a smoky flavor to it. Per the usual Disney fashion, the vegan cheese was unmelted, however, some of it got slightly melted in very specific areas, but overall it was not melty. This didn’t really add or take away anything to the burger. I appreciate there being vegan cheese on it though!

The toppings on here were pretty classic, the lettuce was iceberg so it had a nice crunch, there were several long slices of pickles, and one hearty tomato slice. I wish there was a vegan mayo for this, I am not a big fan of ketchup on burgers, so I ate mine without any sauce.

I also want to note, since it was easy to modify on the app, I was able to get our son the plant-based burger here with just the vegan cheese on it. He ate most of his burger, but truly munched on our fries.

The burgers here don’t come with a side, so I opted for a single order of the large fries for the three of us to share. It was the perfect amount for us for our lunch. The fries here are hand cut and well seasoned with salt. These are some of my favorite fries on Disney property.

Overall this isn’t something I will run back and eat again since there are an abundance of vegan burgers in the parks. There are some more unique options available at Disney Springs to have over a burger too. But it absolutely redeemed itself from our visit in 2020. If you are in the mood for a burger, or are with a kid who won’t eat much other than that, this is an option I will now recommend.

Be careful with modifying the other burgers to the Beyond patty. They served my finance cow flesh once đŸ˜“
Oh no that’s terrible!! I’ll stick to the vegan as is on đŸ˜³
