If you’re in the mood for a delicious baked treat for your vacation, I know where you should go. Stop by Sprinkles Cupcakes at Disney Springs and grab yourself something special from this nationwide chain.
Sprinkles Cupcakes is located in the Town Center right by the bridge to The Landing. You can currently mobile order their cupcakes, or just head inside to order at the counter. They have markers for standing in the queue both inside and out, and plexiglass to separate the line once inside.
Sprinkles also have a unique option where you can order with their Cupcake ATM. Just place your order and your cupcake(s) appear! They currently have a big bottle of hand sanitizer next to the ATM. I find it easiest to just head inside, but if there was a long line I’d recommend mobile ordering.
They only have one flavor that is vegan, the Vegan Red Velvet Cupcake. They also have gluten free cupcakes, however they are two separate cupcakes meaning they are not vegan AND gluten free, it’s either or. If you are in need of something that is both, I suggest you head to Erin McKenna’s Bakery in The Landing where the entire bakery is vegan and gluten free.
11/23/20 Update: We recently found out that the V contains gelatin. We have never eaten it as we assumed it was decorative but have heard others have eaten it. Be sure to remove before eating.
These cupcakes are so moist and absolutely delicious. You can really taste the cream cheese frosting, which is creamy and just sweet enough. Red Velvet is one of those pretty neutral flavors that seems to please just about everyone. If you plan on going here, be sure to either eat them right away or get them to your resort fridge sooner than later so you don’t end up with a melty cupcake.
Sprinkles is a great choice when looking for a dessert. I do wish they had more than one flavor for a vegan option, but I am so thankful that Sprinkles has had a vegan option for a long time. We used to always go to Sprinkles when visiting Chicago years ago, so we were happy to see them move in to Disney Springs in 2016.

How is a store that sells only one vegan cupcake “a great choice when looking for a dessert”? Just go to the all vegan Erin McKenna’s Bakery in The Landing around the corner.
