We did it again, we went to Jungle Navigation Co. Skipper Canteen at the Magic Kingdom. This has become one of our favorite table service restaurants in Disney World as their food is full of flavor. Since we’ve had the Curried Vegetable Crew Stew, Perkins Thai Noodle’s, and Fall’s Family Falafel, we decided to try the Shiriki Noodles as an appetizer since it’s now vegan as is.

Skipper Canteen is a fun themed restaurant where the servers stay in character like the Jungle Cruise. This table service restaurant can be found in Adventureland.
Previously the Shiriki Noodles weren’t vegan as is, you just needed to swap the noodles, however now it is ready to go off the menu thanks to the new plant based options Disney rolled out. They also updated the Perkins Thai Noodles to now be vegan as is instead of ordering it without chicken.

The noodles come cold and are mixed with edamame, peppers, carrot, and lotus root in a sweet chili sauce. The flavors were nice and the mix of vegetables were a good portion to the noodles. I would recommend this as an entree for someone who wants something like the Perkins Thai Noodles without the risk of fire in their mouth. The appetizer portion was quite large and could easily be a meal.

As appetizers go, I think we still prefer the Fall’s Family Falafel over this, but mostly because we love the Perkins Thai Noodles so having this as an appetizer then more noodles as an entree is a bit much.
We were hoping to try their new vegan dessert, Panna-Connie’s Congo Lime Delight, but they were out of them the night we went. If you haven’t been here before, or it’s been a while, I recommend planning a visit on your next trip!
