It’s officially fall in Walt Disney World, well, aesthetically. And with the change of the seasons we are also seeing a change in the treats being offered. We’re going to showcase a few of the seasonal treats currently being offered in the parks that can be vegan.

First is the Maleficent Cone being offered at Storybook Treats in Magic Kingdom. This is vegan when ordered without the chocolate horns. The cone features a Key Lime Soft Serve (the same as the Peter Pan Float) in a black chocolate cone. The cone itself doesn’t have any chocolate in it, so it doesn’t taste like it at all. The cone is a great treat and very refreshing on these hot “fall” days. This is offered daily (not just the Halloween Party) until October 31st.

Next is the seasonal Pumpkin Spice Beignets from Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory at Disney’s Port Orleans French Quarter Resort. Here you can speak with a chef to request these seasonal flavors to be vegan, which is also gluten free by default. The only vegan sauce here for the beignets is a fruit one, so we recommend getting the beignet sundae if you opt for the Pumpkin Spice flavor. The warm pumpkin beignets with the cold vanilla ice cream is a great mix. They have both vanilla and chocolate Tofutti here.

We also checked out the Pumpkin Creme Brûlée Cold Brew from Joffrey’s Coffee, which can be found all over Walt Disney World. I got mine with almond milk (which is their only non-dairy option), you can also get an extra pump of pumpkin.
On top of actual flavored things, you can also find seasonal themed popcorn buckets and steins! Our friends over at Plantslayers on Instagram grabbed both the Cauldron Popcorn bucket an Poison Apple Stein recently. You can find the stein in Animal Kingdom only, but the Cauldrons can be found all over the parks in the evenings.

There is also a standard popcorn bucket that you can find with a Witch Minnie and Mickey on it. Both of these popcorn buckets are refillable, which is great when spending a few days in the parks! Buckets are usually around $10 and refills are less than $2.
If there was any one other vegan treat you wish existed for the fall season, what would it be? Let us know in the comments!
So do you have to ask for the vegan version of the Maleficent cone or is the lime ice cream already vegan?
It is vegan when you order it without the horns.
Does that mean all the beignets are vegan? Aka can i get the boozy beignets?
You can always request the beignets vegan. I don’t think all the booze in the boozy beignets are vegan, but I bet you could specify which ones you want!
Only one? I’d love to see all treats have a vegan version! Cupcakes, caramel apple, fudge, cookies, macarons, etc…I know i’m being greedy lol.
