About

Vegan Disney World began as a way to help other vegans find out what they can eat while vacationing in Walt Disney World. Two vegans, Melissa and Corey, who love food and Disney World started this blog to inform other vegans of their dining options. Vegan Disney World launched in March of 2014 and has grown since then. Our team now has several Disney loving vegans and are always excited to try new options for our readers.

Walt Disney World has tons of options for vegans and vegetarians. We are here to keep an up to date log of what vegans can eat while visiting Walt Disney World resort in Orlando, Florida. Here you will find reviews, tips and just current news about food in Disney.

  1. I’ve really loved and used your blog as my Dad went vegan 6 years ago and Disney World is one of the many things we love to do together. He’s recently also had to adopt a keto/low carb diet (and wants to maintain vegan too). Do you have any information on what is both vegan and low carb at WDW? Any help would be great! Thanks!

  2. I’ve recently had to go dairy-free and this blog is so helpful in planning my upcoming trip. Looking up vegan options was overwhelming me a bit. thank you so much

  3. Your page was super useful, my wife and I thank you so much for it! We used it for all our WDW meal planning:)

  4. You guys are absolute life savers to Disney loving families who are new to a Vegan lifestyle. I’m going to wear out your site on our upcoming trip and every trip after that. Thanks!

  5. This site is AWESOME!! Very helpful! Be sure to read the comments for personal stories and the best ways to approach each restaurant! Thank you guys for running this great site! Really cool that I can link my name to my YouTube channel as well:)

  6. Guys! Congrats on the website. It’s really helpful!
I’m a travel agent in Brazil and I’m thinking about organizing a tour to Disney Wolrd for vegans. I’m just a little confused because vegans don’t accept the use of animals for entertainment, and I found no literature about this matter. How do you deal with that? Do you not go to the Animal Kingdom? Do the other parks keep animals too?
Thank you so much for your help!

  7. Cant wait for my trip to Disneyworld in December. Thank you so much for the help! As a new vegan I was worried how my new lifestyle would affect my travels. I just hope things like hot cocoa can be compromised somehow 🙂

  8. Hi! We’d like to make a side trip to Universal. Any chance you’d start a vegan-options page for that?

    1. Unfortunately, there aren’t a ton of vegan options at Universal. We also try to keep this more Disney, but if you come across something you enjoyed there that was vegan let us know!

  9. Thank you for creating and maintaining this site. I’ve been vegan over two years. I go to Walt Disney World all the time. I didn’t realize there were so many vegan options. 🙂 I’ve already booked a reservation for Trails End. 🙂

  10. So many great recommendations here. Thank you! We go to WDW fairly often, so now I am much more informed about the vegan options. I hope you think about adding a Downtown Disney section. Several great places to eat there, too. 🙂
