Pastries of the world: My favorite Norwegian Kringla in Norway!

If you‘re in the mood for a pastry while in EPCOT be sure to stop by the Norway pavilion. Over at Kringla Bakeri og Kafe you can enjoy the Norwegian Kringla either with almonds or chocolate. You can actually get these as early as for breakfast if you‘re looking for something to start your day with.

A Kringla is a soft cookie shaped into a pretzel. The Kringla here contain raisins and are very minimally sweet. Personally I am partial to the chocolate drizzled one as I love chocolate. But be warned that the melted chocolate will get all over your fingers so grab some napkins. The chocolate does also add a sweetness to this version which I really enjoy.

The almond one is also very good and adds a nice crunch with the thinly sliced almonds. Both Kringla have the same white frosting drizzle on them. I do also love the bites with the raisins in it, both for texture and flavor.

They can be a bit dry depending on when you get them, but even when they‘re dry I still really enjoy these. They have a simple flavor and are just overall very enjoyable. I highly recommend giving these a try, they may your next favorite Walt Disney World snack!

Also, while you’re in the bakery you can also grab Silk chocolate soy milk or a Joffrey‘s Shaken Jamaican Cold Brew can with oat milk. Enjoy!

Back in 2014 I created Vegan Disney World after going to Walt Disney World several times and finding no resource for vegan options. Corey and I began this blog from our trips and have now moved closer to the mouse to eat around the parks on a weekly basis. Since the blog started we have cruised on Disney Cruise Line, gone to Tokyo Disneyland and to Disneyland in California!
