NEW! Mine Car Meatballs from Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar

Mine Car Meatballs are now off menu – See Halloween 2025 Option Here

We have a new delicious bar snack at Disney Springs! Head over to the Indiana Jones themed lounge, Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar, and grab a seat. This lounge offers fun little nods to the films with the decor and menu. They have both indoor and outdoor seating here, the outdoor seating has a beautiful view of the water. You can find a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic options as well.

New on the menu is the Mine Car Meatballs. They have a vegan version available, which is noted on the menu! Don’t let the pricing confuse you though, it’s not an additional $13 to do the Impossible meatballs, just the total for the dish. The Impossible Mine Car Meatballs come covered in a sweet-and-sour bbq sauce, topped with chimichurri, on a bed of potato hay. Our server did alert us that the potatoes are cooked in a shared fryer, so if that is an issue for you I’d order them without.

The meatballs were so good! Not only was this dish super fun visually, the flavors were incredible. The sweet-and-sour bbq sauce was the perfect amount of sweet. The chimichurri added a nice flavor to the bites as well. I would come back for these meatballs alone.

The potato hay was a fun texture. It reminded me of extra crispy hash browns. They were fun to eat and I liked the bites that had the bbq sauce on them the best.

We did also get the Air Pirate’s Cargo Loaded Pretzel modified. This pretzel normally comes loaded with meat and cheese. We were able to unload it and get it with just the pickles and some plain yellow mustard. The pretzel is similar to an everything pretzel with it’s sesame seeds, caraway seeds, and salt. Our server did significantly reduce the price of this for us since we got it without all the meats and cheeses.

The pretzel was pretty good, it had some nice soft bites and was served warm. I wish we could have had spicy German mustard though, our server didn’t tell us why we didn’t get that one but next time I will ask if it’s vegan.

Teddy’s Tea and the Diving Bell

This is a great place for a midday break or an evening hangout at Disney Springs. I recommend going at an off time to likely avoid a wait as well. We went at open and had the pick of the tables. I hope you give this new option a try, I really loved it and I hope you do too!

Back in 2014 I created Vegan Disney World after going to Walt Disney World several times and finding no resource for vegan options. Corey and I began this blog from our trips and have now moved closer to the mouse to eat around the parks on a weekly basis. Since the blog started we have cruised on Disney Cruise Line, gone to Tokyo Disneyland and to Disneyland in California!
