The Vegan Field Roast Chili Dog features a vegan Field Roast hotdog, which is the superior vegan hotdog on the market, and is topped with a three bean based chili and vegan cheese shreds on a poppy seed bun. The chili was more or less the accompaniments of chili for us, it was mostly tomatoes and other vegetables with about 6 beans. They also went very heavy on the raw onion for me.

With all that being said, it tasted great. The flavor of the chili was really good, I wish it had more beans, but the flavors were great. I will absolutely get this again. I do imagine it would be easy to order this without the chili and cheese if you want a plain dog or have a kid to feed.

The Vegan Chili Cheese Fries were super similar to the hotdog with the lack beans. The fries had a ton of tomatoes on it and so many onions. The flavor was great, but I want the beans!

I know a lot of people are turned off by the unmelted cheese shreds, but I am totally okay with it being that way as that was how I ate chili cheese things growing up. I don’t think it being melted would really make much of a difference either way.

We really liked these options and felt they were a huge upgrade from the previous vegan options here. The flavors were great, the soft poppy seed bun was a great choice, and of course the proper Field Roast hotdog was key. If you’re heading to Universal Orlando Resort before to check out Universal Orlando Vegans to be in the know of whats vegan when you visit.

Back in 2014 I created Vegan Disney World after going to Walt Disney World several times and finding no resource for vegan options. Corey and I began this blog from our trips and have now moved closer to the mouse to eat around the parks on a weekly basis. Since the blog started we have cruised on Disney Cruise Line, gone to Tokyo Disneyland and to Disneyland in California!
