Plant-based and Gluten Friendly Brownie from Beach Club Marketplace

Have you ever been staying at a Disney resort and been craving dessert only to be let down that there is no vegan dessert option other than fruit? (Fruit is not a dessert, fruit is a snack). Well if you’re staying at Disney’s Beach Club Resort then you’re in luck!

Disney’s Beach Club Resort has a grab and go quick service area called the Beach Club Marketplace. Inside the marketplace there is a vegan brownie! The Plant-based and Gluten Friendly Brownie first appeared back around the holidays, however we came to realize the sprinkles at the time were not vegan. We actually ended up contacting Disney to let them know that their product wasn’t actually plant-based and they quickly fixed it. I had not been back over to get the brownie after this though.

That was until recently when I was at Disney’s Beach Club and poking around the Beach Club Marketplace looking for options. I saw they had plenty of the vegan brownies and decided it was time to try it! I was a little hesitant with it being “gluten friendly”, but this brownie was so moist and the perfect texture.

The frosting on top was really creamy and a great addition to the brownie itself. This really hit the spot for a tasty vegan dessert. I was a little nervous it may taste too gluten free-ie, but I would have never guessed that it was gluten free. This was just a solid brownie that I will absolutely get again.

I also noticed while poking around that they have La Colombe Coffee Oat Latte’s in their cooler! This is the first time I’ve seen those at Disney, I hope they are making their way around to these locations.

Non-Dairy Milk Shelf

I also saw that they changed the bread on the Grilled Vegetable and Hummus Sandwich. I did not get this because it looks the exact same as before in terms of filling, and it was just so bad that last time that I can’t give it another chance.

If you’re staying at Disney’s Beach Club Resort, or near it, I definitely recommend grabbing a brownie to enjoy as a late night snack on your next trip!

Back in 2014 I created Vegan Disney World after going to Walt Disney World several times and finding no resource for vegan options. Corey and I began this blog from our trips and have now moved closer to the mouse to eat around the parks on a weekly basis. Since the blog started we have cruised on Disney Cruise Line, gone to Tokyo Disneyland and to Disneyland in California!

  1. Thank you Melissa! I appreciate your reviews so much 🙂 I take your advice with me every trip!
I would love it if you could include a few more more Gluten free/vegan choices if you have the time.

  2. Thanks so much for letting them know about the brownie sprinkles so a vegan like me can enjoy myself more on my once every 4 years trips.
