New Simba Pretzel!

Disney’s Animal Kingdom has been celebrating The Lion King for the last few months and recently debuted a new fun pretzel in the park.

There are a few locations in Animal Kingdom (specifically Harambe Fruit Market) that you can find this Rafiki cave drawing inspired Simba Pretzel. It is just like the Mickey pretzel so it it’s vegan too.

Be sure to order your Simba Pretzel without the cheese cup, it’s also cheaper without it. We love getting our pretzels with mustard as they can sometimes be dry. How cute is this pretzel? I hope the trend of fun pretzels sticks and they do some more unique shapes.

There’s some other vegan options over at Harambe Fruit Market. Obviously plenty of fruit choices, there is also a trail mix, and the corn is vegan when you order it plain.

This is a great spot to use some snack credits if you’re on the Disney Dining Plan. What pretzel shape would you like to see next?

Back in 2014 I created Vegan Disney World after going to Walt Disney World several times and finding no resource for vegan options. Corey and I began this blog from our trips and have now moved closer to the mouse to eat around the parks on a weekly basis. Since the blog started we have cruised on Disney Cruise Line, gone to Tokyo Disneyland and to Disneyland in California!

  1. Do they just grill the corn with oil or do some of the ears of corn get grilled with butter on it? I can’t have the butter nor the oil, so I am guessing that this would be a no go still! 🙁
