The Festival of the Arts is over at Epcot and on March 3rd the Taste of Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival begins. This year may be the most ambitious for vegan options, and i runs until July 5th! So let’s jump in and see what the options are this year, as they’re clearly marked making out life so much easier.

This year we have 11 options that are clearly marked as Plant-based. ELEVEN! I can’t believe we have so many choices, so let’s see what’s new before checking out what’s returned.
Refreshment Port is coming in hot with the brand new House-made Italian Sausage and Peppers Poutine. I am here for this option, can’t wait to try it!
At Trowel and Trellis we have THREE new options! The Impossible Sausage and Kale Soup, Boneless Impossible Korean Short Rib with Cilantro-Lime Rice, Danmuji Slaw, and Kimchee Mayonnaise, and dessert the Lavender Pot de Crème with Blueberry Cake, Pink Peppercorn, and Lime Whipped Cream. I am so excited they have changed up this menu and can’t wait to try it.

At Taste of Marrakesh we fully plant-based option for the first time, the Lemon Magdalena Cake with Fig Compote and Sangria Gel. This one sounds really interesting, so I’m excited for it.
Lastly, for the first time ever in Mexico we have a plant-based option! The Sope de Chorizo: Plant-based Ground Chorizo on Fried Corn Dough with Black Beans and Avocado Mousse from Jardin de Fiestas. So many exciting new options!
And of course there are plenty of returning favorites. First up is the Grilled Baby Vegetables with Hummus Cream and Red Pepper Coulis at the Flavor Full Kitchen.
DOLE Whip from Pineapple Promenade is also returning this year.
Trowel and Trellis has also brought only one returning favorite, the Grilled Street Corn. We’re really happy that this messy snack is back!

Refreshment Outpost has brought back the Pineapple Skewer, this one wasn’t a favorite last year, but it’s returned.
My beloved Potato Pancakes are back at Bauernmarkt. These were my favorite last year, and I only got to try them twice before the parks closed.
As always, we’ll check the Frushi from Hanami, but over the last few years the wrapper for the Frushi itself was not vegan.
We will be out on March 3rd to try these options and see if there’s any more hiding around. Be sure to keep an eye out for our review and YouTube video of what we find!
