This review reflects our experience from February 2018.
Looking for quick service in Magic Kingdom can seem pretty bland, lots of chicken tenders and burgers on all the menus. Once you do some research you can find there is more options that you wouldn’t expect. One of those options can be found at Pinocchio’s Village Haus in Fantasyland.
When looking at the menu you see various flatbreads, chicken tenders and other non-vegan friendly items. We approached the cast member and asked to see the allergy menu, which is always a safe start for what we may be able to have.
I mentioned being vegan and getting a vegan flatbread since there is a milk allergy friendly option. She knew exactly what I was looking for and started to place our order. I requested two vegan Caprese Flatbreads, you can also just get plain cheese.
Once we placed our order the cast member gave us a pager and our receipt. We went to find a table and waited for the buzzer to go off which would let us know that our food was ready. After about 15 minutes our buzzer went off and I went to retrieve our flatbreads from where we had ordered.
The pizza itself was pretty good. There were several flavors in the pizza that really made it a tasty dish. The fresh basil and balsamic really impressed us for a Disney pizza. Our only issue with the pizza was that it wasn’t very filling. There are fries here so if you are hungrier we suggest getting those as a side as well. This is another great quick service option if you’re spending the day at Magic Kingdom, although Pecos Bill’s will always be our favorite.
Now, remember, Pinocchio: be a good boy. And always let your conscience be your guide.
