A few years ago we went to Ronto Roasters in Disney’s Hollywood Studios to try their new vegan wraps. It was due time for an update on this option as they have made a slight change to one of their breakfast and also added a fun all day treat.
Ronto Roasters is in Galaxy’s Edge and is an open air restaurant with breakfast and and lunch food served until early afternoon. You can order in person or do mobile ordering on the MY Disney Experience app.
The vegan breakfast option here is the Triple Suns Breakfast Wrap. This wrap features a vegan egg, smoky chickpea-onion slaw, and roasted tomato sauce in a pita bread. Previously the vegan egg here was the scrambled JUST, but now it’s the folded egg. This seemed to hold together better in the pita which was a huge plus.
The pita bread itself has a nice chewy bite to it and holds up well while eating this wrap. There weren’t a lot of textures outside of mushy, despite all the carrots, but the flavors were really nice. The wrap also had a heat that built up while I was eating it, I believe it was the sauce, so I would ask for it on the side or omit it if you order in person if you don’t like spicy food.
Offered all day is the Andoan Fruit with Muja Sauce. This is a really nice refreshing option with fresh fruit. The cup features dragonfruit, pineapple, watermelon, jicama, and cucumber with a tamarind sauce. The fruit was fresh and flavorful. My only issue was that the spears were quite long and I had two casualties fall onto my table when trying to eat them.
This is a nice breakfast option in the park. This is actually the only vegan breakfast option in the parks that features actual breakfast food. I truly hope one day we see more hearty breakfast options like this in the other parks!
