We often see people asking about calling ahead to restaurants before their ADR (advance dining reservation). We want to know how you let restaurants know about your diet so they can accommodate you. Personally we just mark ‘allergies’ when booking our ADR’s and have never called ahead. When marking allergies we also tell the host about our diet so she makes sure that we will talk to a chef upon being seated.
