All Star Sports has finally reopened and got a bit of a menu makeover. We were super excited to see a completely new vegan option offered during breakfast at this Value Resort. They also got some new lunch/dinner options that we’ll head back over to try soon. But let’s start with breakfast!
The End Zone Food Court is the only location to dine at this resort. If you’re staying at Movies or Music you can easily walk over to try this breakfast option since the other resorts don’t have it. On the menu here you will find several vegan breakfast entrees to choose from. We were most excited about the Plant-based Mickey Frittata though.
These little Mickey Frittatas are ready to go when you order, which is very rare when ordering vegan options. We watched our cast member quickly grab two Mickey’s and scooped up some tots and fruit for this. We also ordered the Plant-based Mickey Waffles, and those took about another 5 minutes.
While waiting for the waffles I was poking around the cooler and found a vegan Overnight Oats container which would be super easy to grab and keep in your fridge in your room for the next day. I also found a vegan cupcake in the dessert area, which we’ll talk about after we cover breakfast. There is also hot vegan oatmeal offered at the same location as the frittata.
The little Mickey Frittatas were not only cute (who doesn’t love Mickey shaped food?!), but also delicious. On the bottom of the frittatas you could see where all the veggies ended up. It looked like this vegan JUST Egg frittata had spinach, tomato, onion, and pepper in it. The consistency was good and fluffy, it wasn’t wet or soggy at all. As someone who never cared much for eggs, I loved this.
The tots that came with it were super crispy and salty. They were the dangerous kind where you mindlessly eat them all because of it, AKA the best kind of tots. Our fruit scoop was mostly just grapes and cantelope, but there was also honeydew in the mix. The fruit was actually pretty good, mostly the grapes though.
We loved these little frittatas and I would love to see more vegan breakfasts like this around. It was so nice to have a quick grab option and not spend 20 minutes blocking up a queue while waiting for your food.
The Plant-based Mickey Waffles were also really good. They can be super hit or miss throughout property, but these were a great consistency. In terms of Mickey Waffles, these were ones I’d recommend. Plus we got them pretty quickly. We were also asked if we wanted tots for our side, so I assume you can choose tots or fruit from here.
We also grabbed a vegan cupcake, because why not? The Plant-based Black and White Cupcake was huge and decadent. There was so much frosting on it and we really enjoyed this cupcake. It was moist and had the perfect sweetness to it. Whenever we go back to try their later meal options I am absolutely getting this again. Also if I am reading the ingredients correctly, this is gluten free as well.
This was one of the (if not THE) best Disney quick service breakfasts I’ve ever had. We went in with pretty low expectations for these, and we were quickly proved wrong. If you’re staying at an All Star resort or near them, you should pop over and try it one morning! Don’t forget dessert.
