Walt Disney World is home to many themed dining and beverage locations. One of those options is Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar at Disney Springs. If you’re wondering who this is, here’s a hint: “Jock! Start The Engine!” Jock Lindsey is the pilot for the one and only Indiana Jones.
This bar has a bunch of unique decor that any hardcore Indiana Jones fan would love. This bar is located in The Landing in Disney Springs.
Since it’s a bar at Disney, they also serve food. During the pandemic they changed up their menu and removed the only vegan as is option they had on it, Lao Che’s Peppers. We spoke with our server and found out we can get the Air Pirate Pretzel vegan.
This pretzel has two variations, a happy hour version which is vegan when you order it without cheese dipping sauce, and the Air Pirate’s Cargo Loaded Pretzel, which requires removing all the meat and cheese sauce. I was a little hesitant with ordering this one as it is currently (as of September 2020) $22. I asked the server and she said it would be half the cost without those toppings so we went for it.
The pretzel was just okay to be honest. The pretzel itself was kind of dry, and the everything topping seemed to just be white and black sesame seeds and fennel seed. I didn’t notice any salt on it, and a pretzel like this needs salt.
The size of the pretzel was solid, it was about the same as the Bavarian Pretzel from BaseLine Tap House. We ended up using all of our mustard because it needed something to make it less dry. Our server did offer us some more mustard when we were almost finished. I suggest asking for two if you order this to make up for the removal of the cheese sauce.
The drinks here are strong, which is why a snack is vital. I don’t know if I would come back for this pretzel, as my preference is the one in Hollywood Studios. But if I were to be there early afternoon I may get one again during Happy Hour.

They must have changed it again because when I was last there in February they said the pretzel wasn’t vegan anymore.
They checked with a chef for us. I was always told it wasn’t vegan to begin with but now was told it is. 🤷🏼♀️
$12 for a pretzel is ridiculous to me. I could get enough pretzels at Dollar Tree to last literally 3 months for $12.
It ended up being $11, which during happy hour it’s usually $8. I would rather pay that for the one at Baseline over this one though. But I’m glad we have an option here still instead of nothing.
