Vegan Disney World at home: Felucian Garden Spread

Galaxy’s Edge in Hollywood Studios has been open for less than a month and we’re already obsessed with one of the vegan options there. So much so that Corey decided to see if he could make it at home.

You can find the Felucian Garden Spread at Docking Bay 7 in Hollywood Studios. This meal is vegan as is too. But if you want to bring a bit of Batuu home, now you can!

Back in 2014 I created Vegan Disney World after going to Walt Disney World several times and finding no resource for vegan options. Corey and I began this blog from our trips and have now moved closer to the mouse to eat around the parks on a weekly basis. Since the blog started we have cruised on Disney Cruise Line, gone to Tokyo Disneyland and to Disneyland in California!

  1. I’m not even vegan, but I make this dish on a regular basis now… it’s SO good! Filling, delicious, and easy to make in bulk–I usually batch-bake the kefta “meatballs,” then freeze half of them for next week. Thanks for posting this!

  2. This recipe is AMAZING!!!! I think these ‘meatballs’ will be a staple here for now on. Thanks so much for creating and sharing this! I make your Satu’il recipes all the time but decided to give this a try today. Glad I did:)

  3. Okay, so I have been obsessed with the vegan meatballs from Docking Bay 7 in Disney since I went a few weeks ago. At the time, I even asked the person I was with to take a bite and let me know if it was real meat or not, because I couldn’t tell the difference. This recipe tastes the EXACT same, and I am so happy I can make it for myself now. Easily the best faux meatball I have ever had, and I’ve been a vegetarian for almost 10 years. Thanks for this one!

  4. Can you tell me please how many balls this recipe will make? I need to know if I should double it for 3 people.

  5. When you say a package of beyond beef, is that a one pound package? I’m using the patties and got it from Costco so it’s 2 lbs

  6. We made this tonight and it tasted exactly the same as Disney!! We added basil to the hummus and nutritional yeast to the meatballs but followed the rest of the recipe exactly! You guys are the best 💙

  7. Thank you so much for this recipe! The kefta and hummus were both delicious and tasted exactly like Docking Bay 7 in Hollywood Studios. We haven’t meet yet but hoping to when the parks open again.

  8. I used Beyond Burger Crumbles (in the freezer section). It didn’t hold together enough to make meatballs, so we added some pasta sauce and made sloppy joes with Ronto Wrappers. They were amazing!

  9. I don’t know if I read something wrong but a cup of water in the kefta made it way too watery to handle. Ended up having to add a bunch of breadcrumbs.

    1. Sorry for the confusion! The water is for the quinoa, we updated it in the list to reflect that.

      1. Did forget to say even with my mixup they turned out delicious! Will definitely make again

  10. I was at Disney last week and this was hands down my favorite vegan food I had there! So excited to have found your recipe!

  11. Thank you for your website with the wealth of info! It was so helpful during my trip and helped me feel secure about the food options in Hollywood Studios. I went to Disney World on Monday and got this meal and it was delicious! Best vegan meatballs I’ve ever had. My mom even decided to get the same dish (she’s not even vegan and dislikes vegan meat substitues) and she said it was great! I’ve been trying to figure out how to recreate this at home. Thanks for the recipe, I have to try it out!

  12. Not sure if it’s my browser being weird, but there is an asterisk after the chickpeas in the ingredients list, but no corresponding footnote to say anything further about them.
