The BoardWalk Resort is such a fun place to stay, hang out, and even get married at (see ours here!). We recently had dinner at the ESPN Club at the BoardWalk. The ESPN Club is located at the end of the BoardWalk on your way to Epcot’s World Showcase entrance.
When mentioning we were vegan, our server knew exactly what we could have on the menu, which is always a reassuring thing. I had a heavy late lunch that day so I just wanted a salad for dinner.
The option I went with was the Harvest Salad. Our sever said the dressing that comes with the salad has honey in it, so I swapped it for a citrus vinaigrette instead. I also had to ask to remove the feta cheese on it.
The salad is a normal salad portion, nothing crazy. I enjoyed it but was not blown away. It was a nice light dish that I was in the mood for. It had a kale base with pecans, strawberries, apples, and quinoa. It was topped with crispy fried wontons.
Our Mouseketeer got noodles tossed in olive oil because they do not have a red sauce there. She also had steamed broccoli and roasted potatoes. It was all just okay, very basic.
Our server did mention another option you can get, a Beyond Burger. It is not listed anywhere on the regular or allergy menus, but they always have it. They do not carry vegan cheese or mayo, but it is a good option if you want to watch sports with a beer and burger.
The ESPN Club isn’t a place we are running back to, but we always appreciate a place with more than one vegan option. Plus the atmosphere is great if you are a sports person.
