Snack Series: BaseLine Tap House

We’re working our way around the (Walt Disney) World to highlight some of the best vegan snacks on property. This week we’re stopping by a new addition to Hollywood Studios, BaseLine Tap House.

BaseLine Tap House in Grand Avenue, and is located next to the Sci-Fi Dine-In Restaurant and across from Star Tours in Hollywood Studios. Previously this location was a coffee shop, but was renovated last year to be a new bar.

The bar itself is a beautiful addition to the park. There isn’t really anywhere to sit inside, it’s mostly for ordering, but there are some small stools next to the window. Outside there is tons of seating, almost all under umbrellas, and string lights bring it alive at night. There are both bar height seats and some classic picnic tables as well.

There are two reasons to go here, but one is only if you are over 21. The beer selection here is excellent. They have mostly craft beers at a reasonable price! Here you can find a 22oz beer for less than $10! But if beer doesn’t count as a snack for you then there is another wonderful option, Bavarian Pretzels!

Baseline Tap House offers a large soft pretzel that is vegan! It comes with a side of cheese and mustard, you can just get two mustards and skip the cheese here. It’s a pricy pretzel, but it’s honestly the best soft pretzel I have had anywhere.

The space here is super relaxing, it’s a great stop to take a load off and eat (or drink!) a snack. We will definitely be spending more time at Hollywood Studios once Toy Story Land opens on June 30th, so I’m glad we have a nice new spot for a drink and some carbs.

Back in 2014 I created Vegan Disney World after going to Walt Disney World several times and finding no resource for vegan options. Corey and I began this blog from our trips and have now moved closer to the mouse to eat around the parks on a weekly basis. Since the blog started we have cruised on Disney Cruise Line, gone to Tokyo Disneyland and to Disneyland in California!
